Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. She studied kickboxing, boxing as well as wrestling, before making her first amateur appearance at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was victorious in the first round and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Her first major fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both the fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters getting their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round at UFC on ESPN 7. In her place She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
